Beautifully presented 40mm. diameter steel case with original MKII bezel and screw-down winder, the case as you can see has been re-polished at some point but it has beautiful thick lugs with very gentle chamfers. The case back is stamped 1655 & 11.72 – further stamped 1655 & 3181549 between the lugs |

This is a wonderful example of a very early Rolex 1655 Explorer II with the original box and paperwork. Case- the case has been lightly polished at some point but the lugs remain very thick and it's in beautiful condition. The bezel is a Mark II type which is not unusual with a MKI Freccione dial. Original crown. Case back correctly stamped. Dial - original lume Freccione dial in perfect condition with a full set of original hands with the original lume. Bracelet is a replacement folded 7836 with 010 date letter 1990 and 358 end links Original fully serviced movement Box - comes with the original box with the tag and the original blank guarantee and paperwork from the retail store Goldsmiths plus a Rolex service document with the watch's serial number |
